Michael D. Axel, CFA
Michael D. Axel, CFA founded AMI in 1995. He has over 30 years of experience managing investment portfolios for individual and institutional clients.
Mike graduated from Wabash College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and received his MBA from Vanderbilt University with a concentration in finance and investments. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation in 1994 and is a member of the CFA Institute.
Mike is a member of Trine University's Board of Trustees, the Parkview Health System Board of Directors (Chair of the Investment Sub-Committee), the Education One Board of Directors (Board Chair), the Dekko Foundation Grants Review committee, and the Oak Farm Montessori School Board of Directors.
He is married to Natalie and they have four children.
