Shelby Carmichael, FPQP®

Shelby Carmichael joined AMI in 2016. Shelby graduated from Purdue University (Fort Wayne) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication. Prior to joining AMI, Shelby served as a fundraising coordinator for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, managing the MDA’s fundraising programs and communicating their healthcare and research programs. Shelby serves as a Client Service Representative/Paraplanner. In May of 2022, she earned the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ (FPQP®) designation.

Outside of AMI, Shelby uses her background in dance and gymnastics to teach/choreograph at TC Dance Academy for the Performing Arts. Her community involvement includes serving on the Big Turkey Lake Improvement Association board and the BTL Conservancy. Shelby resides in LaGrange with her family and in her spare time enjoys the lake.
